Rookie Coders

Coding for Kids introduces 3rd-6th grade students to the fundamentals of coding using Scratch, a block-based coding program developed by MIT.  In the course of four weeks, kids build several projects. Projects are taught as a series of mini-challenges that build on each other. Our next public Rookie Coders cohort is scheduled for Heatherdowns Branch Library, February 16 – March 9, 2027.

We can adapt Rookie Coders to the needs of your homeschool or youth organization. We furnish all materials and computers. The host organization supplies the venue and internet access.
