Is there a student in your life who likes tech and loves to build stuff?
STEM Tech 2026 continues our 5th year preparing middle school students for the careers of the future. STEM Tech provides a group environment where a caring adult and student can have fun, build STEM skills, and grow together as a team. This group is designed for kids in grades 6-9. Each kid attends with an adult teammate, i.e., parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, older sibling, or mentor. The adult team member is not optional.
Registration is now open for the 3rd quarter: 1/12- 2/25/26. This semester, the STEM Tech 2026 teams will continue work on their mechanical puppet project with motorized eyes and mouth. Weekly meetings are two hours long and include a short Bible lesson.

Each child/adult team will need the following for the fall semester:
1. Paid registration or scholarship. To keep STEM Tech 2026 accessible, we use a Pay What You Wish model. Each 6-week quarter costs about $50 per student in materials. We ask families to contribute at least $20 per quarter to help cover these costs.
2. Commit to regular attendance for at least six weeks. Our projects usually take several weeks to complete.
3. The ability to set up a free web account for Tinkercad & Scratch.
